Club Sadowsky!!!

I look at the Sadowsky in stock pages somewhat frequently, I was going to guess the Candy Apple Orange Ultra Vintage 4? Congrats if so, that bass looks incredible, and I love that color.

On a side note, can you get the vintage style knobs from that bass to put on a Metro? It just looks so much better to me, more like a Jazz should be I guess.

Let's say it is very similar to the Candy Apple Orange UV4 picture that you see there. I changed the Pickguard (I mean, Lisa did for me).

About the side note, I am not qualified to respond.

-Can't say about the sound guy, but if I were to guess, I think he is ok with me.
-The guitar players are cool and they really don't create any serious problems.
-Each of the back up singers is married to someone in the band (including myself).
-Amazing how our drummer is quite a big guy and always fail to appear in most of the pictures, but he really doesn't care. He becomes visible in the pics below. :)

Hey Bruno...first of all, nice bass! It's fortuitous that you posted a pic of your band at the Cutting Room. My band plays there this coming Friday night at 11:30 (after Special EFX). I'm sending you a PM with some questions (hope you don't mind), since getting a hold of the production manager Peter is proving a bit difficult.

Back on topic, this new bass sounded SO good on friday night, OMG... I decided I will soon be selling most of my other basses.

that's pretty much what i've realized in the last few months.

i've toyed around with a bunch of different basses, but i've come to realize nothing does it for me onstage or in the studio like a sadowsky. nothing.

also, most of the basses i've owned, i've always did this or that, replaced this or that, restrung it with this or that. my sadowskies? havent changed nothing. and yes, i'm an avid sadowsky string user, too!

I think the concept is that a worn instrument looks cool. A Sadowsky sounds and plays nicely for Nino (Or else he wouldn't own all the ones he does). Unfortunately for Nino those Sadowsky finishes are ridiculously resilient, and probably wouldn't age no matter how much he played it. If you read Ibanezcollector's thread of how he did this, it took him a LONG time to even get that original finish off, with sand paper. Sweat isn't as strong as sandpaper.
