I tried to do a search, but the words double, gig and bag are too common around here for the search engine, so, since what I'm looking for is going to keep and carry my Sadowskys, I'll ask here:
Simple question: which double gig bag should I buy?
Per the above, the Mooradian is great, but is a classic 'soft bag'.... very light, very high quality (I use their 'micro amp' bags), but only moderate protection.
Most double bags have always been heavy and clumsy (i.e., the inCase DUB). However....

.... the new Mono double bag is BY FAR the best double bag I've ever experiences. Very lightweight, a nice double zipper design, with each zipper opening on a different side of the bag, so it really feels like two single bags fused together, if that makes sense.
The protection is pretty good... pretty similar to the wonderful Sadowsky Porta-bag, with hard top and back, and semi-hard sides. Straps are great. And.... nitro safe!
The only downside is that the pocket sizes are small. Plenty of room for tools, etc. in the very small top pocket, and cables, extra set of strings, tuner and strap in the main pocket. However, if you are one that carries a ton of effects, etc. in your gig bag, the 'average size' pockets might be a deal killer.
Wonderful double bag, and on average, far above any other I've tried. If lightweight and protection are key... it's the Mono IMO. If lightweight and pocket size are key, and you don't need super protection, the Mooradian is great also.
