Club Sadowsky!!!

Very true. The dots have to be where the frets would be. And not too many of them either. I know it's not a Sadowsky, but this is what a fretless board should look like. It's my Rob Allen Deep-4 that I play for the majority of my jazz gigs (which happen to be about 99% of my gigs) when I'm not playing upright.

Just got this one home:

Rob (Dragonbass) spent a bunch of time dialing it in with me this morning - and wow is it good!

For a gigging musician, I don't think you can beat the PJ5 in this wood combo. It is just so unbelievably versatile -- I'm convinced that everyone should have one of these. This one, like my others, is Alder with a Brazilian board and it just does it all. Good stuff!

Rob, Kevin and Roger were super - as always. Great guys, great products and -- probably most importantly, great service.

So are you saying you've already determined it's a keeper? :)

Congrats. I've been admiring that one!

Now I want an alder/Brazilian Sadowsky in my collection.

It's a keeper -- It's that good. I went into the shop to play it first (rather than just having it shipped.) If I didin't love it, I wouldn't have taken it home with me.

It's everything I wanted, minus the burst finish. I had planned on having a new one built but I realized that it was just more than I wanted to spend. This one was available as a "blem" so I was able to save a few bucks. And the blemish was really, really insignificant.

So, unless a "blem" PJ PJ5 with a 59 burst finish shows up on the site in the next 7 days, it's a keeper. ;)

As always...A great hang! Enjoy the bass.

Just received a Tort p/g for my UVJ4 today. Now I have Parchment, Black and Tort. I like the tort the best. Thanks to those who suggested Tort. The pics are not great but hey... My Girlfriend said "now both basses look the same" ... :)

Hey Dean,

Yeah....Your welcome:D! Tell Jessica I said hi.
