Yes, but prevention is better... especially with something as personal as an instrument... and even noting the consistency of Sadowsky products.

IMHO, never leave anything of significant value that's easy to carry within eyeshot of a window. Never. That's why I like having my stuff in my basement. I can leave it out and not worry about that element of it. Of course break-ins can still happen, but it at least makes your house appear less attractive if they don't have something specifically drawing their attention.

I just watched a DVD of Trace Adkins at Austin City Limits (1997) and the bassist was playing a 4-string, burst/maple, standard Sadowsky. His name is Joey Click; never heard of him before and I can't find a single photo or article about him on the net but he sure is a great player and his tone was fantastic.

Do you happen to know anything about him?

Don't you have Uzi's in Israel to deal with that? Trying to steal a Sadowsky, that is Uzi offense if ever their was one.:D

What about sending off your J4 to the shop to add a "P" route?, this way you can always go back to the JJ if you decide to. Based on your location this may not be a very cost effective solution.
