Wow! Nice figuring! :D

Sweetness Frandiaz! Which case do you prefer? And which is which? Is the teardrop shaped the Portabag?

Thanks

I like 'em both, the Modern case (square) offers more protection which is good but the Portabag is more confortable, it has a lot of storage for cables, sheet music, straps, etc. and it's very conpact and easy to move....and my fretless was shipped from NYC to Spain in it, so it doesn't lack on protecting these fantastic instruments. :)

I did something today that I thought I would never do...
...I sold my Sadowskys :bawl:

... not really! but I sold my old StingRay. It has been with me for a long time, but I need an upright, and they are so expensive that one bass had to go. As much as I love my StingRay, my Sadowsky PJs are "My Basses, My Tone".

So from now, I'm 100% a Sadowsky player. :bassist:

I think I'll be following your lead soon Fran. I haven't evan got my metro yet but I think I'm gonna sell my Ray and my Bongo and order up another Sadowsky.
I got my first Sadowsky and I am already planning to get rid of my US Joe Osborn. That sound cannot be achieved by any other jazz bass I have heard to date. The MTD is a keeper though - it does things that the Sadowsky can't (which is not surprising given the completely different design philosophies!).

Fran,

You really got me going there for a second!!

Roger

LOL, As good as my StingRay is, and I've owned a lot (including pre-EB) and this is by far the best of them, I simply can't compare it to your basses.

You've killed my GAS for any other basses from the first note I plucked on my first Sadowsky 3 years ago.

Now, please!!! build a small, portable amp: You can call it "The Sadowsky PortaAmp".
