There are a couple threads in the strings forum about them. Hex core, some kind of unspecified stainless-ish metal, really flexible when off the bass (like labellas), fat sound. They are the result of real new string R&D, not just a repackaging of an old design.

I've got them on my RBV and RS5 now, loving them ... 2 more sets on the way to try on my Laklands.

I did, which I guess leads to a followup q for pickles: do you use them in standard tuning?

Yep. I figured a set designed for BEAD tuning on a 4 string would have been engineered for good low-string performance, so I figured why not try the med 5 set in standard tuning. Its great. Similar to hi-beam string feel.

Of course it just confused me evern more because I think a perloid PG might look even better

For those of you that Have Will Lee's - is the rear PUP spacing 60's or 70's spacing? Will Sadowsky do either for the Will Lee model?

I am looking for 60's spacing ...

It's 60's, so you're all set with the standard config.

Wow !!!!!!!!!!!! That thing is Amazing. Cant wait to get mine. I am so glad I went with BE Board with the Vintage tint. Mine will Have 21 frets and a caramel Burst finish. Thats the only Difference. Cant Wait.
