Club Sadowsky!!!

We just got our first cd delivered from the record company, I'm still on track #5 and my PJ is already strung again with the Sadowsky flats I used for the recording. As soon as I finished listening to the first track I went for my bass and put them back.

Roger, you've heard this a million times, but once again thanks for building these great instruments, for the great service that you and everybody at the shop have given me over the years and for taking care and pride of every little detail in everything that carries your name, even something so insignificant for the rest of the world as bass strings... :cool:

Many thanks! We have a meeting with the record company to talk about promotion, record release party, internet download/sales, etc. We need to have them on itunes.

By the way, there are three songs availble for listening on our myspace site. (There is a link in our website).

Someone in here owns this beautiful bass. I grabbed this photo a while back and made it my desktop. Now it is my all time favorite looking bass!!! I absolutely love this bass. Congrats who owns this and.... do you mind emailing me a hi-res photo of this shot? The one I have only fills like 50% of my screen, I'd like a full size for my desktop. Again, this is my #1 bestest, awesomest bass of all time! :hyper:

Wow! thanks! your opinion means a lot to me!

We didn't waste a minute trying to get the bass sound. I used my Ash/maple PJ with flats through an off-the-self DI box straight to 2" tape. No compression on the recording or mixing stages. Just some slight eq in a couple of songs. I miss some 'amp tone' on my sound, but, you know, they needed all those hours to find the guitar sounds :D

The pics I have taken of it are all located here. I still haven't managed to get really good pics of it yet.

That's quite a compliment coming from you, Vic. :)

At one point I thought the burl might be a little over the top but now I'm loving the way it looks -- different enough from a regular burst to be interesting but not as striking as quilt. As is usual with Sadowskys the finish is perfect.
