This is my new favorite idea. The only problem is, part of the reason I like it is because of that border around the edge, which would be kinda' tough to reproduce in real life.

Mine has this really great spalted maple top, and for some reason - don't know what I was thinking - I had them put a parchment (white) pickguard over it. I am glad that I had them send me the clear plexi as well, because it's going back on. The white is nice, but ... I just can't see myself covering the wood!

Here's my 24fret 4. Its a new model for them. Ive had mine since late last summer but was under gag order. LOL. Its an unbelievable piece. Only 7.35lbs. Expertly assembled. Action is on the board. The big singles kill. Ash body, totally yummy.

I'm like Vic, in that I REALLY like that clear with the outline of it showing. I never really liked the clears before, but that is definately a nice twist to it.

As for right now...I wont be able to make the NYC GTG. Maybe I should start to plan a GTG for New Orleans. Can you imagine??? For anyone whos never been to New Orleans, Its one of the most awesome cities in the world. And we have alot of beer.
