VTC functions just like the Fender tone control you're used to. Pull it out to bypass the pre.

With both treble and bass boost (stacked) turned all the way down, the passive/active volume change is not huge, but it is a little louder in active mode.

Add just a touch of bass boost and/or treble boost to suit. I use a little bass boost and just a hint of treble. You don't need a lot -- it's powerful. Cranking up the treble or bass boost is not a good idea, IMO.

Sorry to say but not quite. It's just not that easy.

There is so much incredible quality and attention to minute, fit and finish detail that goes into Roger's basses. I've always found the playability of the Sadowsky to be significantly better than the Fenders I've had or played, too. I really am convinced that the Sadowksy magic is the sum of all the parts.

That's what I'm talkin' about. Had a Celinder Update with that same spec... love the perloid with the blocks and binding. Sweet!

+1 Hard to tell with the lefty body and that ramp, but I think Bernie nailed it. Thought the body looked like a Sonus, but got fooled!
