fyi, there's a sweet sunburst/ash/morado/tortoise in the shop now.

especially the bass!
it's got enough juice to really damage your speakers if you over-do that.

The thing that often happens to me is that the treble boost knob on mine will get turned as I'm strapping it on, and will be cranked up. I won't notice it's dimed until plugging in. Yikes!

Thanks!!! Strung her up with Chrome flats, and truly do have the option of either A) nailing 99% of the mojo of my Chromes-strung 62 but with a low B or B) coping an ultramodern tone that gives me gooseflesh.

Can't wait to get some clips of both P's up for comparison, and to give my impressions of the ash/maple versus alder/rw for NYC PJ5's, as I'll have BOTH for the next week until my ash/maple sells to a friend locally.
