Hey, Fuzz. I hear that. Gotta say, Ive thought about a similar bass to ur white one a number of times. Only a 4 string. Bet it sounds killer

I'm switching strings for the first time in like 4 years. I'm going from DR Lo Riders to Hi Beams, so not a huge departure or anything...but still.

I thought I was pretty immune to Sadowsky GAS on account of my WL and PJ, but that MM Sadowsky has me drooling.

I've always liked the sound of 'rays, but I just never liked the necks, and hated the spacing on the fivers. I had a gorgeous one of the original Dargie 5HH basses and it only weighed a little over 9 lbs. But I just couldn't get used to the tight spacing and sold it, keeping my UV70-5 instead.

Just when I thought I was GAS-free.

Wow. I got the master to chime in. U built a bass for the Matchbox 20 bassist. His has a black guard and I always thought that bass looked very cool. Thats where I got the idea

Ahhh.... yeah, with a dark board I do think tort looks better.

Crazy stuff that GAS can be! I NEVER though I would get the affliction for a PJ but just that short bit of time with yours has been building up a pretty serious case for me.

I bet! I wouldn't hold your breath though. It makes one hell of a counterpunch to the WL.

I've already turned blue in the face and got light headed holding my breath.

Mainly it's the "I wanna PJ" GAS mixing with a "OH I want a Sadowsky MM" GAS. It just never seems to end.

DR Neons, of course. After playing 'em for a few minutes: I don't think they sound as good as Elixirs, but they'll do just fine at the gig. And I know for a fact that I'll get a few comments on the looks, and exactly none on the tone!

Just watched Ricky Minor on Leno playing a full number with a Sadowsky J 5er - cherry burst w/ rosewood. Man! This cat has a closet full of 'em. 1st 5er I've seen him use on Leno.
