Club Sadowsky!!!

Dag what is wrong with me? i started playing 5 months ago i have a nice Fender Victor Bailey Jazz 4, i sweet Valenti 4 Vintage BASS which i simply love, and lately i have been Jonesing for A Sadowsky and a FRETLESS Bass, not that i can play that good to even think about a fretless, but i heard that kid KWESI who i met at this summers GTG playing his fretless (not a SADOWSKY) and now all i think about is a freakin fretless, i think i have a disease. Now i know i will be buying a SADOWSKY next month as a Christmas/Birthday gift to myself but i go on the web site and see this, and its in my price range, but dag i know how hard a fretless is to play and yet i look at this thing all freakin day long...i think i will see the doctor to see if he has a cure, someone say no to me and tell me that i suck so i wont even go to the shop and try it out and leave with it......Please!

This is the way I see it:

You want a Sadowsky.
You want a fretless.

Dude, buy this and you'll be saving money!

Of course, not everyone sees things the same way I do. :)

I've noticed that this type photo for BUILDS (including Hounddog's) doesn't include the extra large image size(when clicked twice) that the same type posted on the Sadowsky site provide. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

The photo that BartmanPDX posted is linked from Photobucket which doesn't display a photo that large in its true resolution.

To get the full size photo that Sadowsky uses on their site, you would need to grab the image URL of the full size photo and use the

I don't think the custom basses are on the site at all. If you go to the stock pages and try that serial #, you get nothing.

I think Sadowsky does a courtesy shot for the buyer, but they don't really need to do the hi-res because there are no perspective buyers for the bass.

I agree that file size is an issue when posting photos as well. Oh well.

Please note that I'm speculating. But, when my son and I did the data thing, there were a LOT of serial number gaps as we incremented through the list.

Although, as best I can tell, it's the same photo in two different resolutions. Maybe they would email a high res if you ask.

I LIKE my new-to-me Metro RV-5 - plays and sounds great! I do have to lower the action a bit - I like it on the medium side...

Here's a pirated picture - I'll do my own when I get a chance!

I had a really nice 5-24 - flamed/spalted top, ebony board...I think I like this one better!

I think this is true.

I had been checking the site for months to see if my bass (custom ordered) ever "made the list" but it never showed up. I think they only do the hi-res shots for the basses they build for stock.

'course, that doesn't mean I can't take some shots of my own:
