Hi
Pretty nice wood for being one of those "imports", dont you think?
Rob

HI
Oh yea. Love my hybrid. Its seen hundreds of shows and has always sounded great on any stage, thru any amp. I am starting to get the itch for another jj4, though. Maybe a uv metro? That would be 3 metros, no NYC's. Whats up w that?
Rob
HI
I do love the blocks and binding. Remind me of my youth. Thats why I always look for the UV's. If not one of them, maybe another Will Lee. This time I might try a Metro WL if one comes thru sub 9lbs. I was hot on ordering a WL5 but my Metro pj5 sounds so good and plays so well I'd be a knucklehead to sell it. Decisions, decisions!
Rob
At the end, tho, some incredibly stupid drunk chick was just insistent about getting up on stage, and it was in the middle of the song/set, so it was hard to get someone to get her off-stage or get a friend of hers to do it (we have a pretty strict policy to never drop a tune for stuff like this... just works best for club players IMHO.) Well, before we could get to the end of the song and deal with her, she almost knocked the keyboard player over with hip bumps, managed to fall down and almost knock a whole rack of stuff over, and slung stale beer all over me and my Sadowsky (yeah, the pretty one, 5249).
It's been a really long time since this has happened, so I guess I was due, and it won't change my decision to take any bass I own anywhere I gig, but it does still pi$$ me off big time. I just spent the last two hours taking the pickups out, knobs off, and cleaning everything, not to mention throwing away a nearly new set of Blue SS strings.
*ARGH*
Anyway, looking forward to next weekend.![]()
Time for y'all to put up that chicken-wire barrier, like in The Blues Brothers.
Maybe even electrify it.

4 foot of blue flame coming off the front of a Desert Eagle .50Mag will quiet folks down real quick.

Whatever happened to a nice, friendly "YOU %^#%o SUCK!!!!!" screamed at the top of their lungs?
