Club Sadowsky!!!

Anybody here like the smell of new Sadowsky bass?.... I just love it.... like John Suhr, James Tyler Guitars that my brother own... they all got the same smell when they come new out from the case, we both love it too....:D

But when I give my bass and let my girl to see.... she said why the neck like smell of fish........................................................

When I got my new Fender P last year, the flight case came complete with a godsawful petroleum stink that was reminiscent of model glue or gas. I wrote to Fender about it. They said to toss a dryer sheet in the case, which actually worked pretty well.

But a fishy smell? What the hell?

For some reason, you looked good in these posts at the start, then you looked like some pasty white guy from the midwest for while, and then you looked good again. Not sure what happened, but I feel better now that you are back to normal. Roger seemed to stay the same... pasty white guy from the East Coast.
Yeah, that was not a good look for me either, but sure was funny. :)

I am (probably) gonna settle on an Alder/Rosewood combo and absolutely want a gold anodized pickguard for it.

I want kind of a vintage look for this one and am thinking about

either Vintage White, Fiesta Red or even Dark Cherry Burst....

Anyone got some creative input?....:help:
I know I'm gonna' sound like a broken record with the burst finish thing, but IMHO nothing goes better with the gold anodized guard than a '59 burst.
