How was it to go from 1 7/8" to 1 3/4" nut width.

For me, I totally dig the 1 3/4" nut width better, it is much easier and comfort to play.

Just that little bit of a difference definitely makes for a faster-playing neck. Slight but noticeable.

visually, I much prefer 5240...

If ONLY I could've kept both. Can't go wrong with either look/tone.

5633 is the most attractive 5 string P-Bass on the PLANET!

Thanks!! Get a LOT of compliments on the gig. I picked it up because it reminds me of a 58-59' Pbass, my favorite design of any bass. That and I was told 'so sorry' on the gold guard about 2 years prior only to have the EXACT bass I was trying to get made show up on the In Stock Page.

I think the anodized pg is one of those neutral effect pg's that work w/ any colour. I put one on my Sonic Blue P as I like the '57 "gold guard" look. Would post a pic but this IS a Sad' thread.

push pull knobs have always just seemed really iffy to me, and wouldnt you know i've already broken one from overuse. lisa at the shop installed a sweet little mini switch for my "single to fatstack" pickups, and its been awesome.

Maybe I'll have that done to my Will Lee since I never use the mid switch.

hmm.... I simply prefer a toggle switch for active/passive... never dig the push/pull idea.... hahaha
