First of all, I thinking to sell my Ibanez to make some money, then eventually to buy this Sandberg... So, it won't be so quickly and theres your chance
If you get answer from Sandberg let me know what they say. I'm really interested and if I make money soon I gonna go for it. But, everything is stop here with buying/selling these days...
You're more than welcome to wisit. I'm not in Belgrade but not far, obout 65km, so we can meet and look for some fun. Belgrade is cool place and everybodys are welcome.

Selling you Ibanez to get a Sandberg is a great step I'm very sure you will not regret it. Wish you good luck so you can get some extra cash soon.
I'm not quite sure that it's the Panther Bass which belongs to Dave Markee, I thought the actual Panther Bass looked a bit different and I have searched the internet for photos but didn't find anything. Best is to wait and see what Sandberg says.
Sure would be great to meet you at some point in Belgrade. My mother lives there so I travel to visit her quite often. It indeed is a great City and though I don't speak much of the language I always feel at home there.
I keep you up to date if I got an email from Sandberg and you tell me how the sale of your Ibanez is going. Are the electronics of the Sandberg fine have you had a possibility of talking with the seller?

And I read somewhere that Sandberg is somekind of wintage sounded. Plus, it is well known about Sandberg quality... So, if I got money soon I gonna give chance and try it. Will see what's gonna be...
Could be (very) possible that you find money before me, in that case I can help you to go there and try it. I call guy who selling it few times, but he's not available. But if I contact him I let you know.

Let's hear some reviews of you proud and happy Sandberg owners. Tell us what you like most about your Sandberg and why you chose Sandberg above other brands. I've played a PM5 and an JM 5, both excellent players and lots of tonal variety. But I'm more interested in the Basic Ken Taylors and the Bullets, especially the Bullet with the twin humbuckers. Either way, let's hear how you feel about the preamp on your particular Sandberg, how its tone compares to other Sandbergs you've tried, or other basses of any brand. Let's hear why you chose a California, a Bullet, a Basic or any other owned by any of you guys here on Talkbass and how your bass suits your (band) needs. I'm looking forward to getting my first Sandberg in a while, but I'm still torn between all the possibilities possible.

Proud and happy Sandberg owner here. I bought my first Sandberg after having played the bass for 20 years. I dunno what took me so long. Now that I got my California TM5 Supreme, it's the best bass I have owned. The quality of it, the feel of it, the sound of it, is unmatched in my experience.
I chose it over a Fender American Deluxe 5 string jazz bass, after a poll and feedback here on TB, and I've had no regrets. I guess I just wanted to try something new, that others don't play, that I had heard good things about, I knew they are hand made to a certain extent, etc..
I now have D'Addario chromes (flats) on it, and play it mostly in my blues cover band (we play everything from blues classics to newer stuff like John Mayer) and it sounds great! I want a fretless Sandberg now...
Hello to all of you proud Sandberg owners! I would like to know if any of you have tried a Sandberg passive Pbass (the VS model on the website). If so, what are your thoughts? I have seen videos on youtube and that's about it.
I know that many of you own the PM (or VM now). I have had the chance to play a couple of Sandberg basses, like the Ken Taylor, Umbo, JM, but the Pbass is the one I am mostly interested in. Thanks! (Here's hoping I can join the club one day!)

Yes Salo it's named VS now, I'm not sure what the V stands for but S must be Single.
I'd like to hear your Passive California do you have any possibility to record something?

Same here; I first saw it in their 2011 catalog and thought it was made with photoshop to advertise some finishes. Then when I saw the pictures of the Fairs with somebody actually beside that! =

Well, at first it was a photoshopped joke for an ad. After getting many questions and offers they decided to build it ;-) (Heard this at Frankfurt Music Fair)
