I already own a 6 string Macassar California fretless for some time now, but I recently acquired this baby as well:

I have been a long time jazz bass user looking for a new tone in a arsenal.
In a recent trip to Germany, i had one of the best music shopping experience in session music and fell in love with the Session Special Classic 4 from the waldorf branch. Great sound funk/rock tones and even better weight (~3.8kg). While it doesn't sound exactly like a jazz bass, the single coils sounds are sweet enough as an imitation jazz bass tone. The single coil neck tone sounds quite like a 51p bass too.
Cant wait till try it in my next gig!!
wow grats dude. where did you get that from? hows does it play?
I just picked up a Sandberg VS4 and it's no doubt the best playing bass that I have owned. The neck is so narrow I love it! I have the cream colored one and would love to put a parchment or black one it it. Does anyone know where I can get one?
Hi, nice bass and nice casing. Can i know the brand of the casing please. The bass fits very well in it.My Sandberg. It's a solid bass.

I briefly had a Basic 4 which I dug, but what I really want to know is: Can one still buy a Patchwork Jazz or no? I asked Sandberg via their site, and I asked CME, since they're a dealer, and received no answer from either. (I see a suggestion above to go through FB, but I am not on FB.)
