Thanks for being on top of it club! Got the E-mail, sounds like Ben's doing more than he has to to get in front of this potential problem. I like boutique gear because it tends to be handmade with quality, but a small builder with good public relations is not always the easiest thing to find. I'm all for supporting Verellen in the future.... Just as soon as he makes more stuff that I want!... or until I just break down and buy a head.
I emailed Ben today. He suggested not to use the preamp until the resistor has been changed. Which means probably 2 weeks until I can play it again. :/

Aaah crap...soldering. I technically *can* solder, Im just not sure I want to test my skills on a $700 piece of equipment...

I just got a PM from someone implying that I was being overly negative I agree I deleted all of my posts and I'm done posting here the Meatsmoke is incredible.
As a veteran, gold supporting member, and long time MS owner, you can say whatever you want. You have a legitimate issue, and have always been fair.
I assume the answer to this question is yes, but will Ben do a MS combo amp? I am thinking of asking for a 100w small combo with the MS tone. Everywhere I play, I have PA support and IEMs. I really don't need a big cab or head.
