The platform is 15.5" deep, and 19" wide. You can find them online for $95-100.

My local Office Depot sells the "Safco" brand of the Ruxxac for $130. Safco also has a knock-off of the rock 'n' roller.

I'm considering keeping the Concorde for air travel and getting a Tri-Kart 800, mostly for the reason of the extra wheels. It's nice to be able to not place the cart upright again after shifting the weight into the rolling position but most of all, it saves my back from carrying the weight of the gear over long distances. At gigs where the stage is a long ways away from my vehicle, my back starts to feel the weight.

bumping this thread-i think one of these will work far better than ther rock-n-roller cart i was planning on. So cheapest place so far is traveloasis. I'll do some more research and see if i can find one for less, I'm really cheap-have spent around $800 on gear the past week [humor me-i'm prepping for college].

i use an R8 rock-n-roller cart and it has become a wonderful addition to my rig. Guys usually will make fun of it, than see how easy I'm wheeling down 8 blocks then beg to load their gear on it. Very sturdy and can definitely take the 500lbs its rated for.

I've used the $40 lowes hand truck and it died after a couple of weeks using it to lug around a single GS112 and DB750. That and I feel I'm pretty short rocking a gigantic 5'9" of height and i found myself crouching to push it around. Definitely don't want to walk backwards with this thing as well the wheels will turn in and your gear will feel the floors punishiment.

Since this thread got resurrected, I've just gotta say how useful my extra-long platform Ruxxac continues to be. I don't think an Acme B4 would be a problem, though you might want to use some external bungees to secure it. I routinely wheel around two Bergantino HT-112s, an amp head, and gig bag full of effects with it--about 120# worth of stuff. Effortlessly handles curbs, small flights of stairs and wet ground, even for long shleps.

Just got my Tri-Kart 800 from TravelOasis today. Only took a day to get here, since it shipped from so close. Anyone doing the math on the date stamps of my posts, yeah, I put it off for a long time.

Got the handle upgrade and the carrying bag as well. Man, this thing REEKS of sturdy quality, especially noting how portable it is. I think I finally found the perfect cart for all my stuff. I won't really get to use it until next week, but I expect to be impressed.
