Hey, Fivestringgecko, in case you check the forum before you head out, I'm going to try to come by the shop when you are doing your cab shoot out.
It was cool you came by man! I did end up trading in my Avatars to Dan and going with the two Berg 1x12s. All those cabs sounded good, but the Bergs spoke just that little bit better with my gear. A little more than I wanted to spend, but in the long run I think it'll be worth it. Great sound, will be much easier to load, and more flexible/modular than even the Berg 2x12 I'd previously been eyeballing. Looking forward to gigging them!

The problem I ran into was that they were all great cabs and I think I would've been happy with all of them. That's why it was such a touch decision!
We'll see... looking forward to gigging them! My funk band has a possible gig coming up at the Downtown Rock Bottom on the 26th, I'm crossing fingers that it doesn't fall through!

yes, that is me, beersurgeon. Unfortunately, I had to leave early from the GTG but look forward to meeting more TBers in the future! If you go up to PBG and meet up with 5sg, let me know and I'll try to crash your mini GTG!
Dang it, I had the date for this wrong in my head, I was really planning to attend (and bring down that Guild Burnside Crossbow.)

Lol. Or we could just plan mini get togethers... Going up for Matt's trio deal on the 3rd sounds like a good time for one to me. I want to drop off my fretless for Kellye to mod and can't make it this weekend, so I'll be up there on the 3rd and plan on sticking around.
B - unfortunately the Downtown gig fell through. A band that had previously played for them "suddenly became available," so that's that. Also, I could show up early on the 3rd if you want to check out that Zoom. Let me know!

What are you having done to your stealth fretless?
I'll be up there sometime tomorrow to pick up a bass that Kellye fixed up for me. Not sure what time though.

I am indeed hoping to get to PBG early for Matt's trio gig. I never know what's going to go down at my crazy little zoo so I can't make any promises
