Cool!

This came together really fast! I'll mark it on my calendar. I can't wait to meet everyone!

I'll bring my Bongo 5HS and (maybe) my Stingray 4H (pretty common but it's strung with Sadowsky flats so some might think that's cool). Ahh, just so there are some extra amps for everyone to play with, I'll bring my rig with me even though it's nothing special.

Thanks to Capnsandwich and NicJim for helping pull this all together. I have a non-TB'er bass enthusiast friend that I am going to invite as well. He's an old school guy but has some very nice vintage P and J basses.

Did we set a time yet? If not, what time will work best?

I emailed my pastor last night, but was informed by my wife that he and his family are at a family reunion. Soooo, I may not know until Sunday for sure. As soon as I know, you all will know.

I mentioned the rig I'll be bringing, but I also have a cobbled together GK 400RB-III/115 combo I use at the church that everyone can also run through. The more gear, the merrier, I say!

Oh, and do we want to plan on some sort of lunch while we're together, or do that on our own? We have a couple cool places in town.

Alrighty... August 1st is GO. Just got an email from my pastor saying everything is cool.

So, is everyone good with 1pm? Perhaps those of us who care to do so could run up and see Tom's band later on. The Arena district is pretty swanky.

I'm in Athens, and my Skjold 6 should be done by then, so I'll at least turn up with that, my EA iAmp 500, and my custom 1X15.

And for Jordasch's sake, I'm 21, so that should help push the average age down a little further. :D

See you all there!

I act more like an adult, so age is no big deal for me. I just hope I can make it..

Sweet, this should be a good GTG. I have a couple friends who are bass players, I'll see if they can make it.

I'm going to be trading my Bongo 5HHp for a StingRay 5HH, so I'll have that instead.

What's everyone else bringing?

Oh, and did we say anything about lunch?
