Ha! I actually saw them about a decade ago in Chicago. Went to see a buddy's band, and they were opening for these guys (his brother plays guitar for them).
Weird Al and Devo.
For those who may not know, Al did a 'genre parody" that was clearly meant to emulate Devo. Mark Mothersbaugh has said he's "mad" at Al because he so perfectly encapsulated their sound, haha. Edit: I tried to link the video, but YT blocked it. It's called Dare To Be Stupid.

Even at their height of fame, they didn't have enough guitar stands and had to lay two of them down on the floor. When you think how much these four guys were able to do with that much gear, you really wonder whether it's necessary for a cover band playing in a corner bar for $50 a man to bring five times as much.
And Sgt Pepper's was entirely recorded on a Studer 4-track.
