Fantastic pix! Lux arguably the greatest rock and roll performer I ever saw live. I saw him make
the crowd at Perkins Palace in Pasasdena CA erupt in a way that made me realize the power Jagger would have
had upon crowds in '65 and '66. Lux had the whole mad crowd with him and then he gave the order and it totally kicked off.
As good as it gets.

More intimate gig, I had the pleasure of wrestling Lux to the ground when he dove onto the dance floor
during the wrestling ode "The Crusher" at the Roxy one night circa 1981, a great program of entertainment that commenced
with the opening act Gun Club's lead singer Jeff Pierce giving the crowd the finger, then ducking for cover behind
the drummer as cocktail glasses rained down upon him. At the end of the set, Jeffrey tried to escape into the balcony but was overly optimistic about being able to accomplish the one required pull-up. His chubby legs dangled mid-air a long moment before rabid punks plucked him from the air, slammed him to the ground and gave him some tasty kicks and punches.

Then the Cramps came out and Kid Congo accidentally set his rat's nest of hair on fire with the candles on his amplifier. Lux saved Kid's skin (literally), only to subsequently sacrifice himself on the dance floor.[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]

I didn't get to experience shows until 2000(?), but got on a good run of at least a dozen before Lux turned blue for good (RIP :angel: )
