If you haven’t read Bill Bruford’s autobiography, I would say please do. If only to read the section where he and Tony Levin were called in to for an Al Di Meola session (his Scenario album?) and it’s priceless. It’s Al at his most pompous and Tony at his most, well Tony! .

Oh yes. Just for grins. Here is Bill Connors (Al’s predecessor in RTF). Not a slouch either.
