So, if it was like this bass, but completely different, you'd be set for life??

What kind of bass is that, and when are you going to give it to me?

It is a Fender CS 64' Closet Classic, Sonic Blue w/Mint.
If you are really good (and I mean REALLY good) we will talk about it again when it's a little closer to Christmas (I remember my dad saying that when I was a kid, translation: no, it will not happen).
I dont think i can argue with that logic.... is this your own creation, or is it made by a company?

I vote the J Bass Marco Cortes is building for me, technically its a P/J but the body is a J and the neck is J'ish. Light weight 3 piece body (Ash core, Ceder sides), Canadian Red Leaf maple top, Hand wound passive pick ups, Black hardware, thicker profile neck....
I should have it in a week or two, at that point ill uplioad some finished pics

Hi! If you don't mind, I will throw my hat (and my Jazz's) hat into the ring here for Coolest Jazz!
"Ol' Blue" is an alder (Allparts) body, pained translucent blue (good ol' Reranch). The Allparts body was a "factory second," so you could say I saved her! Lots of sanding and TLC...TONS of hours on the paint (courtesy of my dad and I). Hey, I am 43 years old, but never too late to do a project with dad, eh?
The pic sans pickguard is basically how it stands today...except that, the pearloid-topped knobs have been removed, I added an Audere preamp, and the bridge pickup was replaced. OK, totally the same but completely different lol.
The pics WITH pearloid guard are actually how ol' blue will look once I add a pearloid guard to it! That is; the guard pictured isn't actually mounted, it doesn't fit. I tried to go cheap (Why!?) and didn't work out. I also have Fender gold-colored screws once the guard goes on.
So QQ if you don't mind: Which do you prefer, pickguard or no PG? I know which way I am bending towardBut would really enjoy some comments on it thanks!
Either way, I hope you enjoy Ol' Blue!!
Thanks for looking,
Sean
EDIT: Could only add (2) attachments; please see below for 'Ol Blue sans PG thanks!!
VERY nice. Though what do you mean by the "all-parts body"? Sorry, still sorta new to this stuff, i assume you found parts from other basses and but it together, and did your own paint job. Any way you did it, it looks very nice

Greetings! Thanks so much, it's really appreciated! This bass already means a lot to me, and will continue to for quite some time!
(BTW, I am originally from LI! I see you're in Jersey, cool man. Go Giants!!)
OK, I am psyched to introduce you!
