Coolest jazz basses ever?

Single coils.
They have a warmer and smoother sound than the stock Duncan designed pickups, but still have that single coil edge.

I own a Jazz but it's fairly routine. But this is my "FenderBacker"/"RickenFender" P-bass. 60th Anniversary P with all Rickenbacker 4003 electronics including push/pull.
Now this is something truly different.
I don't think I've ever seen Rick electronics transplanted to a non-Rick body before.

Wow. I can't believe how good that looks. Incredible execution on that design.
Yeah, I dig that one too. I've seen a few people using Ric setups on custom or frankenbasses though. johnk's 325 style build is the one that comes most immediately to mind though.
I cant decide if I its mine because I love it or if I love it because its mine. Anyway, To me its the coolest Jazz Bass.
Some people may not like the look, but I fell in love with it instantly. How did it sound?!

Who is the bassist? I think any Jazz bass he is playing at the moment is the coolest Jazz bass. But what about this particular one? I think it's an active 5, but I can't find any pictures of a black body/red tort pg/maple fretboard Jazz 5 on the web. Besides this one.

Some look cool, but I think this one's coolest....mostly because half the people believe me when I say its an ibanez body and a fender neck
