I submit for consideration my 66 p bass sporting my 64 jazz bass neck. Perhaps not the coolest but I wouldn't trade this bass with anybody.

That is sweet Pedro. Love those old necks and dried out bodies. I have a newer version that is just always right.

A housemate left it in the closet when he moved out - I had it for 13 years until he resurfaced and asked to have it back!

Lot's of great, hot p-basses in this thread. I even submitted three or four of my own, but this one gets my vote. Just perfect.
Sorry buddy. No matter what you do, that offset body and control plate will always be a Jazz bass.
