Coolest looking P-Bass?

This has been one of my favorite combinations that I have ever seen. I think it's a 90's issue MIJ.Not mine, just wish it was.

Nice bass! If it had fingerboard dots instead of blocks it would look just like the lefty '75 P-Bass I bought two months ago:

The neck has been bumped and hit many times since it left the Fullerton factory in '75, but it's structurally very solid and the truss rod works perfectly:

I've since taken off the pickup cover and stuck it in the case - it gets in the way. The original pickguard is very brittle with lots of hairline cracks and pieces missing, I'm waiting for the replacement pg to arrive. As far as I can tell the body is 2 pieces, the only visible seam I've found is at body's bottom end close to the output jack. And I'm lovin' this bass - all 11,5 lbs of it. :bassist:

One of my favorite basses played by one of my favorite players; Martyn P Casey of The Triffids, Nick cave and the bad seeds and Grinderman. Great man, great bass!

Not a Fender but I went for my favourite combination of burst/tort/rosewood with Quarter Pounder, Chromes, bridge cover & flat top knobs for good measure on my Aria STB Series.
The classic P sound & look IMO :) all done for a little over £100 :smug:.
