On a punk theme, JJ Burnel's old DIY Greenburst P bass has to be up there. You can tell a Stranglers song instantly from the grindy bass.

very nice..very very nice..now look at the post I put one up, saying "you won"..then imagine exactly what you and your son did, but with that finish on a slab body..and you'd have it..john Entwistle's too. cheers.

My personal favorites are the late 50's styles with the gold ano guards, but I'm a sucker for that 60's 3TS and tort too!
