Thanks guys it was built around a early '70s Fender A-neck MIM body Hipshot oval tuners Fender'62 pickups cloth wiring CTS potentiometers a .1 capacitor & Black Pearloid pickguard.

Its not a Fender but this is the first bass I bought an 89 Applause P-bass.











A friend of mine stepped on the jack & broke the pickguard. I couldnt find a replacement so my uncle gave me some black & white countertop formica

The coolest Precision has to be the ones from the 70's with the Ash bodies, and natural finish. Rosewood fingerboard..black pickguard.

It might not have been a Precision specifically, but I did play a Charvel P-Bass that was black and had a maple fretboard.

Black dots instead of pearloid blocks though, and because I didn't have the money at the time, I didn't get it.

Incredibly well built bass though, if a bit heavy.
