The Fender Precision - 3 color sunburst, tortoise shell pickguard, maple neck, medium jumbo frets, and chrome hardware with the big tuners looks best imho.

Actually it's MY bass. I had an exact replica built and Billy Sheehan has seen it and approves of it !

Actually, I was thinking of a black pickguard and might go that way one of these days. And, I haven't seen a single bass in this thread that wasn't a great bass!
