Indeed, it's a time honored tradition in the Midwest. I've played wedding gigs where the reception dinner was pot luck. You mean "pot luck" meals? Good luck with that. I mean, the alternative is to buy and prepare everything yourself.
Expect he's talking Injera bread and such. Probably a much bigger ask given its cultural significance. You mean "pot luck" meals? Good luck with that. I mean, the alternative is to buy and prepare everything yourself.
What I mean is various casseroles, stuff in crock pots, fried chicken, cheese & crackers, chips, desserts, etc.Expect he's talking Injera bread and such. Probably a much bigger ask given its cultural significance.
Yet selected facts can confirm a bias. This is the basis of climate change. Which is quite enough said on that here already already.I didn't realize facts came in any other flavor (sorry...as fully indoctrinated apologist in the cult of Science, I couldn't resist)
Seems to me that self isolation has aleady started. Restaurants in the area report slow down of customers. And people stocking up on supplies means less visits to the store.Indeed, it's a time honored tradition in the Midwest. I've played wedding gigs where the reception dinner was pot luck.
Not seeing where pita and injera bread torn up and dipped by hand into various dishes isn't a big part of that mix. It don't make much difference in terms of outcomes whether or not they are included in the list of examples. Except as I say such dining may be more entrenched in the cultures they come from. What I mean is various casseroles, stuff in crock pots, fried chicken, cheese & crackers, chips, desserts, etc.
To make more NaOCl, eh? We appreciate your hard work in times of need.Back to the salt mines for me!
And I gotta say that now I'm suddenly somewhat glad to be a compulsive hand-washer. Touch stuff, wash my hands. Repeat.I haven't changed my behavior. My parents taught me good hygiene.
Me too, however, I can’t get my 6 year old to stop licking his fingers!! Unfortunately it’s the behaviour of everyone that is going to dictate how this plays out. Good hygiene and isolation is a start but everyone in our supply chain, food, money, gas, post, the person who last touched the kettle in the kitchen, is a weak link. How many times a day can you realistically wash your hands? This is why it is more of a problem than seasonal flu. It is both highly contagious and has a higher mortality rate. In the UK we have an average annual flu mortality rate of 17,000. I believe last year was only 8,000 but a couple of years ago it was 23,000, or thereabouts. I don’t think Covid 19 will reach that level in the UK but it has the potential to hit the hundreds of thousands if we don’t act. Is it panic? No, but it is a concern that we shouldn’t take lightly. I know of a couple of people who have returned from northern Italy (one from the Venice Carnival) in the last 2 weeks. I’ll be very interested to see if anything happens there. I’ll keep you posted. And I gotta say that now I'm suddenly somewhat glad to be a compulsive hand-washer. Touch stuff, wash my hands. Repeat.
What was inititally a bit of a fault is now a virtue.

The basis of climate change is a simple chemical reaction that is prevalent on Venus. That basic science grounding or it's lack is the difference in opinion. as well as some stuff about "dominion". pure arrogance.Yet selected facts can confirm a bias. Regardless of it being overblown or a real concern what it really shows is how much influence the media has over everyone.
It is allergy season for sure. My wife and oldest son are suffering with them right now.washing hands can only go so far. last friday, a checkout guy who was holding two pieces of clothing coughed directly ito my face
since he continued making cold sounds afterward, i hope he had an allergy rather than covid 19 or the flu.
