When we have to play covers, we like to do songs we admire/enjoy/don't hate as much as what's usually popular at the moment. And I did get my way...
We're planning a small tour in Italy next summer, hopefully we'll be over that way for a while. Got some contacts in France and Sweden- whereabouts are you?

HA. We're SLLLOOOWWWWLLLYY, phasing the WSP content out. But its slow. If I had more experience, I'd probably move on. But at least I'm getting to play with others, gig out some, and work on my timing.
If I am not mistaken I think Papa Legba may be a David Byrne tune.

Well, thank you for your comments, Stew, but trust me, the bass solo wasn't really good. The thing is: The fastest I could play "Country Music" NEATLY (well, sort of) is around 135 bpm. Stu plays that at 145 bpm in the original recording and even faster live. I try to keep my tempo, but It's hard because people gets so excited, specially with the oompah - oompah theme, so at 135 bpm it wouldn't create the same reaction (I guess). So playing that at Stu's tempo results in a really messy performance. Some fine moments, but some (and more) embarrasing ones also. Fortunately, people here don't know that stuff and the rhythm catch them easily.
