Have any of you had a chance to check it out?

Jason Statham is easily one of my favorite actors out there now, and I'm glad he took this role. It really solidifies him further as the big action movie go-to guy.

Without giving much away, I'll just say that it's 88-minutes of over-the-top B-movie action.

Yes, it glorifies guns, sex, violence, and drug-use but c'mon! The rated-R action flick has been stagnant for quite some time.

I can genuinely say that it's been a while since I've seen an action movie in theaters that had audiences cheering.

I'm baffled as to how you'd think this movie would be any good by seeing the commercials. "Look, they stabbed you in the neck with something. No, it wasn't a knife, it was some sort of thing that does something, ok? Now go do stupid **** for 88 minutes."

The over-the-top action movie has alway been crappy, it just took people a while to realize it.
