Crazy ex-girlfriend

That was some wise advice from you dad. Yep...we should listen to our elders more.

I'm an ex-cop from a department in Virginia. When it comes to domestic violence, you talk to both parties, at least if you can. Sometimes, the aggressor leaves before we show up. I had not been to one, but sometimes the victim in unconscious or dead on arrival. You get your probable cause from the totality of the circumstances. Sign of injury is one. It's tougher to figure out if both people were hitting each other, both have injuries and both are lying to the cops? Who's bigger? Who started it? So, I went to multiple domestic calls where the woman is the aggressor and she's the one who gets arrested. I've been to calls where both parties were yelling but no one hit each other and no one gets arrested.

In the cases where it's hard to tell but someone gets arrested, it all gets figured out in court.

Just alittle bit of background information: I broke up with my girlfriend of 3 months and she goes back to spend the night with her ex the same day we broke up and claiming they were just talking as friends. Ex-girlfriend is now saying we need to get back together and trying to convince me to work things out with her.

Honestly she is starting to scare the crap out of me. Some of the things that she has offered are as follows:

1. Talking things out and getting a hotel room tomorrow night that she will pay for.

2. Saying she is going to buy me a new bass to make up for what she did.

3. Offering to have sex with me anytime I want it.

4. Offering to give me money weekly to go out with her.

Now I've dated some crazy women before but I've never had anyone offer me these types of things to try and work things out. I'm not asking for advice; I just wanted to ask what are some of the craziest things your exes have done or offered to do for things to work out?

It sounds plenty crazy to me. Obsessive women (or men) are seriously bad news. A new bass, sex on call, and paying to go out with you might sound great (does sound great, actually), but you're going to end up paying a price for all this, and it could be very high indeed. Run a mile from this chick - and then run some more.

+1. I got one of those (the free one) for two straight weeks after the worst part of my story. It all ended swiftly and got way worse after.

You should be getting those things from someone out of genuine love not as redemption or bribery. You'll get all that and more from someone ready to give it.
