A lot of these truly responsible types also evade paying tax with the power of cash right? I love absolutists.Right, because practically everyone has enough cash on hand to purchase houses, cars, college education, etc.
You srs bro? J/k you're probably right to some extent but I challenge anyone to ask potential bandmates to show you their credit score and video tape the response. Remember during an audition they are auditioning you just as much as you are auditioning them. This thread is only half serious, so maybe I should have put it in Off Topic or Humor, but this morning's newspaper had an article reporting that people with higher credit scores who pair up with a partner with a similar score are far more likely to stay together over the long haul, whether married or not. There was a lot of speculation about the characteristics that make a person achieve a higher credit score and how that plays out in a relationship. So it naturally occurred to me that maybe people in a band with widely varying credit scores might not be able to keep it together for the long haul. What a strange thing it would be to interview someone for the band and ask them for a credit score! (Or to ask for that information before a date, for that matter, but that was the newspaper article and this is TalkBass, not TalkDate!) Thoughts?![]()
you wouldn't know Karma if it bit you in your nether parts.
The thing is, the MAJORITY of people with bad credit scores are what most people would call "irresponsible".
You had to go back to pg 1 to find someone to agree with.. Now that's pretty humorous..Exactly!
Think about that -- an employer finds it a more reliable indicator to know your legal and credit history than if you test positive for drugs.
