I have just loaded the amp in the car and am about to grab my basses (one electric, one electric upright) and go get the singer. It has been a long day at work and this promises to be a long night too, cos we are scheduled to play at midnight as the "afterparty surprise" band. Three bands before us, including our guitarist's other band.
So of course I look forward to it, but I will also be glad once it is over. Experience has taught me that being last in a line-up of more than two bands usually means:
(1) you will play an hour later than planned (if you're lucky)
(2) most people will have gone home by now
But hey, this is the first time we are playing for the door, so who knows we may actually end up playing for the door


Sheesh. It's classic rock. We added a few cooler, dancier 80s tunes and I guess are on almost a try out this weekend. See how it goes.
