Routasydän, Another nice bass, congrats!
I can imagine some fun stuff with fretless/whammy bar combo.
Putting out customs that fast at those prices, AVguitars is doing something right!

Carver, Add that one to the top of the good-as-it-gets list!

Just hit the 20 month mark on my laggan.
Like a lot of one man operations, Russ has been forced into very-part-time mode.
Still, the end is getting closer.
Got some picks of the bass drying with one of its many coats of finish.

Actually I did my math wrong.
My first post of start-of-work was (1-12-07); 7 months ago, which came one year after my deposit (details of the lagtime in the link).
So its a 19 month wait.
I can understand your thinking thats long, given you've already had two basses built in '07.
I'll spare repeating the details, but Murphy's law has been omni-present for this build.
Think I might have the thing shipped in a vault when its finished.

Stewmc, 7 string, DEVILMAN;
I really appreciate the kind words and encouragment.

there was an accident with the new Conklin 10 and they had to scrap the top.

Ouch! I hate when that happens. (Not being a smart-a55, happened with my laggan 7)

here's a shot of the new one, pre-sanding...

The other woods are yellowheart/maple right? That will be one intense axe!
As thay say in the graphics business, that will really "read".
