I'm right around the 5 month mark now. I was at BassNW last week talking a bit about my in-progress bass (one of the highlights of my vacation to Seattle) and they're supposed to be giving Fodera a call to get status. I'll probably call BassNW on Wed. and see what's going on. Hmmm, I should probably note this in my ipaq ;)

OMFG, Neck, Pups & Pre all came on Friday...

YIPPEEEEE!!!

Neck, & ferrules are installed... Tuners are inserted into the holes, just haven't locked 'em down yet...

Oh, BTW.... This necks is OMFG awesome... Pics WILL follow... maybe tomorrow.

Got a call from BassNW. Due to some kind of an electronics shortage such, the bass is pushed back to early October :( I somewhat suspected this would happen. Oh well. Patience. Must.... have.... patience....

Hope others are having better luck than me ;)

Got the email this morning...it'll be ready next week!

He sent a pic...but to cut things out would be a little tricky... Its a pic of mine and two others he's working on (One is that 5 string w/ the spalted top that one of the TB'rs ordered). I'll post pics as soon as I get it...I just have to say his Level 4 design looks gorgeous!

I just got my Alembic dropped shipped to me last Wednesday. I only had to wait about 3 months after ordering it. Its a 5 string Mark King Deluxe with a custom "K" body, single omega cut out, tummy tuck with cocobolo top and back, side LED's and 7 piece purple heart laminate neck :bassist:

I finally got news on my customized '51 PJ Benavente (white limba body). A coupla' weeks out (he's working on another in conjunction with it, I wonder who's waiting for that one). Now I'm getting excited. When it was months out I could forget about it, now that it's close I WANT IT! I just hope it gets here before I go to London for 2 weeks, my luck it'll get here the day after I leave.

I'd hate to order a new Benie or Nordie, I'm not that patient.

Just thought I'd add myself to this list. I ordered a Low End (Benavente) Jazz 5, transparent white over swamp ash with matching headstock and a maple board. Also going to have a half pickguard in tort and clear (need options!) and the Benavente PU/electronics package.

I'm stoked but only about 2 weeks into my 4-5 month wait!

Thumper, I was thinking white korina but wanted the transparent white over swamp ash figure.

Wilbyman, I've always wanted a white Jazz for some reason, but Mr. Dolan talked me into refinishing my '66J in black instead, it does look nice with the red tort.

I was going to have a black limba body, but Chris wanted to do it in white limba and of course I defered to his knowledge.

5 months for the Low End Jazz is good, other models are even longer.

Brian told me to hold my breath.. it might get here before I pass out. But I think he just wanted me dead, so I would quit harrassing him!! :D
