right now the second one is waiting for the herculiner to dry and the first one with the 15PR400's is already on the stage for its maiden gig tonight.

William Riker is a little taller and fatter than Jean-Luc Picard. They both don't fit into the captain's chair the same way.
Same holds true for 15" drivers. Because there is no standardization, sometimes the required cutout dimension is not the same for two different products. Somehow I think that this may be the case for the Faital. Maybe I'm wrong.
i just don't see any benefit from mixing the drivers.

Very nice.
The bass sits nicely in the mix and is clearly heard (without being too loud) inspite of reasonably distorted guitars and bright cymbals.
Did you use an outboard EQ with the amp?
i actually built it for my STM900 but it sounds great with my SVT too.
