in defense of the gearhead discussion, I always thought that beautiful women and hot cars went well together

I always did, too......except that most of my experience with that combo has been that the women were just supposed to stand by the car and keep their mouths shut. I was never good at that. I like talking about them, and well, what's the point of being around an awesome car if you can't drive it?

Use a candy instead of the metal cast finish... It will add depth and more shine
remember that paint depth is in the finish, not the paint, but some colors do look "deeper" than others

someone please photoshop a pic of T2H into the side if the honda engine pic, so I am on topic

I'll take that under advisement, thanks. I did a 2010 Deluxe Strat with a contoured neck heel in the Metal cast, using both parts, and it came out really nice. Took awhile to get right, because each can has an ever so slightly different pigmentation, almost zebra striped the thing. Really pissed me off. Took 2 refins until I said screw it and emptied 3 cans out into a blow gun and mixed them. One shot, one kill. :hyper:

Hint noted. That's a good starting point. I'll still want to drive everything, eventually.

~ponders bribing the monkey to come with sharpies and distraction techniques so I can drive all the toys without anyone noticing that the keys are missing.........

Oh well, at least if that happens, my harley is safe...

between tall ape hangers and my own hand made forward controls, you really have to be over 6 feet tall to be comfortable on it...

the rest, I think I may have a hard time keeping my eyes on, if you two team up

It looks like one of those colors that would show every teeny blemish and almost require negative air in the booth to ensure that you don't get any tiger striping or fish-eye or any of those other weird little paint flaws.

The car below was my absolutely favorite car at the show today. I got invited to a VIP party where they'd have let me drive it, but I couldn't rearrange my flight and still make my other commitments.

Ooooh, and Daddy likes this one! What is it?

I never liked the 70's/80's body style. I liked that old classic squared body - probably because my first was a 68 1/2 Camaro SS.

I bought a beat up old rusted 68 Camaro around 25 years ago. Put in a lot of work and money into mostly restoring it. Had it looking pretty good for a few years but ended up selling it again.

That is the Via Falcon. I LOVE that car. 620 HP, and it's basically a body snapped on top of a roll cage. I'm not sure if you can see it from the pics, but there's a lot of reinforcement (diamond plate) behind the back doors and behind the seats, and the roll bars are visible between the seats. Also cool to see was that the pedals were really small and really close together like you see them in racing vehicles for speed shifting and there wasn't any backing behind the pedals in the foot compartment. Rear placement engine, so I get not having a firewall up there, but whatever wall existed up there was a LONG way behind the pedals because it just looked like a big black hole. I wanted to drive that car more than I wanted to breathe yesterday. LOL.
