Etoncrow, Morgantown was a rather metropolitan oasis nestled in the hills. I only noticed the accents in the children I taught in rural locations. some of the most wonderful kids I've ever had the pleasure to work with.
I understand. It is the more rural and mountainous areas where the population is still most affected by the way their ancestors spoke. I am not trolling; just thought the Chaucerian reference was interesting and should be shared.
