The guy in the boat is sad because he doesn't have a straw. :(

hey all - just got in from the Vague Assurances gig, CD release party at the Keegan Ales brewery in Kingston NY. Went very well. I think I'll be able to get some pics that other folks took, but I don't have them tonight.

3 hours, 36 songs, about 8 on Big Mama, the rest on the Stingray 5 except for one on harmonica only (a lot with harp in holder) plus one on mandolin. :bassist:

Did "When I Go Away" as a tribute to Levon Helm ...

Laura was awesome. Her best night ever IMO.

OK, here we go. Excuse the harmonica stuck in my face, that's just how we play since we don't have a keyboard player. I basically have to play keys as well as bass, using harp in the holder plus my pedalboard.

Sounds like an amazing night! :p

I find that black cowboy boots are better, for me

Which reminds me, I don't think I ever posted pics of my latest pair on here. T2H and FM will be aiming boots at my posterior soon. I had a pair made. Black lower, tan shanks (uppers), both done with a Bucklace design... and I had a Vibram work boot sole put on them.
I had them done for riding boots, but they are so comfortable I have been wearing them all the time

They got funnel cakes in FLA? I guess the place ain't all bad.

I'm up for mutual commiseration any time, Ms Heart.

We DO have funnel cakes in Florida. And sometimes we can even get deep fried Oreos, too. Yum.

My PM is always open. But be forewarned. I'm much more candid when there's not an audience than I am when there is one. :D Who knows what'll come out of my mouth in a PM.
