I am almost as old as dirt, and friends with some extremely intelligent, outspoken women, so I doubt I'd be too taken aback by your observations on human relations. But who knows, like with Fender basses, you can never say never, right?

Interesting practice session today. It was just three of us today, since the female singer is out of town and the second guitarist's brother passed away. The drummer made a comment and I agree with him on it. He said that when we are just jamming and making stuff up, we sound really good. Perhaps we should start coming up with some originals.

ha - I thought of you a couple of times along the way, I went all-Stingray last night (except for Big Mama on the upright in about 10 tunes) and it was great.

I started a separate thread about it in the "Basses" subforum - I'd had hand cramping issues towards the end of long gigs with the Jazz, but no such problems with the 'Ray.

as to the singer ... yeah, she knows how to shake 'em, too. She was great last night, really got the crowd going. :bassist:

Too exhausted from a long week to say much other than HI and you all rock.

I'll have to read up and get back in on CWB:16 or as I'd call it- The Zodiac plus FM, Tat, PA, and a stingray. That would make a sweet 16.

or CWB16: more punch than 2 8x10s.

I've made mechanics blush, so you never can tell. But then....I figure you can probably give as good as you get. So...this should be enlightening. ;)

I'm jealous - I'm not nearly that creative or accomplished yet. Perhaps someday....soon..... :wistful sigh:

My teacher today pushed me for...."If I played this progression of chords, what would you do with it to jazz it up?" That was kind of interesting, and after we were done, he made me tab it all and said - hang onto that because it's going to become something bigger over time. I like it enough to put it in one of my songs. LOL.
