Hey DT, who is your friend? PM if you like, I am always interested in doppelgangers and kindred spirits. Especially funny ones.

MB, I will catch you at wishing hour.

Chuck, be sure you get the link to the Cab Calloway tune from earlier last night, I posted that one with you and Big Mama in mind.

Here we go...

This song still moves me after almost 40 years.

He does well on this one live from the same album.

From the Little Help with My friends album the only version of that particular one I could find. It's a mess on youtube, but that is not Joe's fault.

I use a jam I lifted from the interlude when I play the 12 string, go from a barre Am7 at the 5th fret to a G6 played at the third fret with the pinky on the A at the 5th fret of the high E string. Henry McCollough plays the gtr on that one. Nice feel t the song.

This one knocks me out too...

Jimmy Page on guitar.

Chris Stainton handled most of the bass work, piano, organ and continues to back all kinds of top performers to this day. World class musician.

Henry McCollough on guitar, later to play with McCartney and Wings.

Ok, since the ladies have worked so hard, they need a little party music, let me see if I can find some from the C(wb) side of the music world.

Sleep, ok, I guess I better give it a shot.

My bass room is small as well. I think you made good use of the space that you have, and wall-mounting your basses will free up floor space.

I keep them cased mostly. I haven't figured out a way to wall-mount hard cases yet. But I figured that having hangers will let me put more people in the room and we can put cases in the garage if I get folks together to play.

Next stop in the remodeling venture is to refloor the hallway and hall closet then put the baseboards in my son's room. It'll be the final finishing touches that I didn't know how to do until this room. Then comes the living room. That's a scary beast - 16' ceilings and laying tile. :shivers: Next year......LOL.

Great pictures, great room transformation. There are wall mounted display cases you can buy. Link Removed is just an example. I wouldn't really trust theirs, but you have a good idea of what your options are.
