Lee H said:that...or you could clean out your PM box. It is full, and my PM bounced back, just when you wanted buff pics...or pics after the finish on a bass was buffed... one or the other
In the meantime, and Chuck I'm thinking of you when I post this, here is Jello with Bass

OK, got a pic...this is laying on my pool table. it was the best background I could think of, to really be able to see the detail
I found a guy in germany (via computer) who was making aluminum pickguards, so I had him make a custom one for a bass project. This is polished, but looks kind of dingy because of my fingerprints
BTW...This was done for a fender jazz bass that is painted tangerine candy pearl (headstock matches body)

So, does this mean I'm still waiting for my buff pics?![]()
see, that would turn out all bad... you would point and laugh and I would get a complex... not good at all
don't be so sure...I did it hanging from wires in my garage![]()

because it sounded like fun, at the time![]()
hey FM, how is it going with playing that fretless? Are your fingers finding the notes OK without those old fret things? Do you like it? Nice and smooth, right?

Ugh...long story...I think I've finally got a decent set-up on it, but the current strings are B.S. So I'm still working on getting it playable.![]()
hmm ... wish I were in close enough proximity to check it out. Strings and set-up are both very important, esp. on a fretless because the intonation has to be user-friendly.
