Just got in from tonight's gig..started at 7, ended at 1130. My feet hurt, my back hurts, I am cold and I am tired, but I had a freaking blast.

this goes back 15 or so CWBs, but talk about a biological reaction ... well, I had one to this pic.

not sure where I was going with that thought process ... or even that there was a thought process.
p.s. this is the first image that comes up if you google-image "furry monkey talkbass."

sorry to learn about your friends, but I agree with your point...
...but I agree with your point...interesting you think about the" the next time through." I look at it that way too. Not everyone does.
You see, you are dealt those cards for a reason. You either earned them or you need to learn that lesson. Off yourself and the next time through you are still going to have to play those same cards plus the BS cards you just dealt yourself for committing suicide. Just my thoughts on the subject.
I feel the same way, i'm here for a reason, i can not go back to The Before until i complete whatever my soul is here for. If I were to "off" this body i will just have to come back in another reset at Level One. Since this body is already up to Level 45 i may as well just ride it out and hope i either finish my mission on this planet or get a better body next time.
As much as i hate this body sometimes (chronic pain), and most of the inhabitants of this planet, i have no desire to start over again, so i just frantically try to figure out why i'm here so i can be done and go Back.

Must find some indoor gigs.
Thanks for your thoughts and prayers Drummer, FM and PA.
Johnny was at set up yesterday for our gig this afternoon. He's going to try playing a just a few songs with us as he tires quite easily. They are running some more tests next week to figure out the best way to attack the tumor.
He is remaining positive and upbeat as we all are.
DT, with a smile that bright you don't need any of those lights. Looks like you're having some fun.
well I let my emotions lead me today, instead of my brain...but oh well
I walked through a local flea mart, which I do not believe is ever a good idea when you have money in your pocket. I can always find tools that I never knew I needed.
An older guy was selling a squire P bass, and a little Danelectro, Honey Tone walkaround amp. The good news is I am only out $40. The bad news is that I have a craptastic P bass and a little amp that really does not sound like it is for a bass.
I felt sorry for the guy and his lady counting change for coffee. That was my logic behind buying more stuff that I do not need
