My weekend was interesting this weekend, to say the least. Stayed in Friday night because I just wasn't feeling like anything. Saturday night, made a last minute decision to go see WAR at a smaller venue down in Little Five Points (cool area of the city with lots of clubs and shops).

Atlanta is a great city, plenty to do there...lots to see...

Little five points is awesome....Some highlights!!

If you go back you need to go into Junkman's Daughter, Cherry Bomb, Le Petite Mort, Criminal Records, Charis Books (bought a lot of first editions there..lol), Crystal Blue, Vortex.....and you need to cap it off with Pizza from L5P Pizza (world Famous)

Also I suggest you check out a club called the Masquerade over on North Ave NE in Atlanta (especially on Fetish Night!!!)

Coke Museum, and Underground Atlanta are also on the must do list!!

Grindhouse Killer Burgers over on Edgewood needs to be visited too!!!

Whiskey Blue and Churchill's in Buckhead!!

and if your feeling adventurous Check out the World Famous Cheetah Lounge and the Pink Pony

and you really need to go check out Stone Mountain...lol

and last but not least

THE ATLANTA BASS GALLERY...lol

You speak as though you have some experience!

Little 5 has been fun so far. I've been to Junkman's Daughter. Great shop. Been to Criminal Records and Crystal Blue already, too. Haven't had the pizza yet, but was down there tonight for dinner at The Wrecking Bar. Fabulous craft brews and really good food without being overpriced.

Been to Stone Mountain, too. Spent a few days at the resort in April, and just live a couple miles from Will Henry's Tavern. Been there a couple times to see bands.

Last, but not least, I've already been to Bass Gallery. My friend Darren works there, so it's a favorite place.

When you decide to come back and visit, you're welcome to crash at my place. I have the room for it.

Technically, it's published poet. I've had several published in anthologies and magazines. I'm in the process of writing a cookbook now.

That's Nikki Parrott, bassist/vocalist for the Les Paul Trio. They backed Zakk and a few other artists this year at the Iridium for a tribute show to Les Paul and do a lot of musical performances in the spirit of keeping Les's music alive.
