I like flats better in general anyway. The XXX just got a new set of tapewounds, but both of the Ibanez have flats.

I'd probably need the lines, although, the one fretless I did play didn't have them, so maybe not. I prefer the look of the unlined ones.

Yesterday was my first experience with flats. Not sure if I liked or not. I am definitely not used to them.

The lines helped my for sure but if I were to buy a fretless I think I would buy one without and teach my ears to guide my fingers. The bass will tell me when I touch all the right places. Isn't that how it works?
