ah - y'know, I've been to Chicago a few times in the last couple of years and I never went to Bass Club. I knew of it, too.

Spoon time.

All to visit one of my kids in school there, and now he's graduated so I'm not sure when I'll be back. (Although finding a pretext to visit FM seems like a plan. :bassist:)

p.s. All packed for Albania gig, flying out tomorrow by way of Vienna. I'll post pics if I see anything CWB-worthy.

I need some cheering up. I spent a good chunk of the night working on the refin bass. Neck on. Hardware on headstock, all good there. Line up and drill PG holes. All good. Get ready to seat the pre-made MIM Fender harness and pups. Drop the harness on the garage floor. Snap off the orange cap and separate one wire. What a time for Murphy to show up. So it looks like beside a professional setup I was planning on getting done, looks like a solder job as well. Ahhh well, everything happens for a reason right.........

I don't know about everyone else, but I don't get out much...lol...so, to me, pretty much any pictures are worthy. :p

Go get a 40 watt soldering iron, or a butane powered one, and a solder sucker...fix it yourself.

Also, learn to do your own professional set-ups...

It's pretty liberating to be able to put Murphy outta work, when it comes to your bass.

I just might do that. I have taken this bass this far, why not go all the way. Any advice on what kind of solder to use for pots?

THand, you're such a dear. Thank you. I have quite a few more where that came from - and several published.

But - on the lyrics notes - I've been pulled into helping John and the guys write some new stuff and that seems like it's going to be a lot of fun.
